Hope Blouse (b. 2007) is an American painter born in Greenville, South Carolina. Her work uses nature as the inspiration, reimagining landscapes from all around the world. Through works of anything from oceans, deserts, and to snow-covered mountains, her oil landscapes explore the ideas of both the vastness and emotion nature has to offer as well as the combination of reality and something fantastical to tell a story.

She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design, with a major in painting and a minor in art history.

Nature is my biggest inspiration. From a young age going on family trips to the Caribbean, to going to Switzerland to hike in the Alps, nature has become what inspired me to create. When painting the scenes I have explored, I strive to capture the beauty, vastness, and emotion that I may have felt. That way, others can experience the same serene moment of watching the waves at the beach or that feeling of awe while wondering through the rolling green hills surrounded by snow-covered peaks.

I investigate not only the idea of vastness, and the emotion nature has to offer by starting with an earthy tone and working my pieces layer by layer slowly building and crafting the scene through the vivid colors of nature. I also investigate the combination of reality and something fantastical to tell a story through magical landscapes.
